James R. Eads

James R. Eads is a Los Angeles artist whose richly painted decks run from the Prisma Visions Tarot to the Oracle of Many Paths.

James R. Eads works from a studio in Los Angeles. The Visions line began with the Prisma Visions Tarot, a painterly deck whose Minor Arcana suits join up into panoramas. It grew into the Cosma Visions Oracle and the Mirra Visions Lenticular Tarot and Oracle, a single deck that brings the art of both together and is printed lenticular, so the images shift as you tilt a card.

The Oracle of Many Paths is an oracle deck in its own right. Its 78 cards are read as an oracle of Many Paths. The guidebook also shows how to read them with tarot spreads or through numerology. It comes with a fabric-bound guidebook of example spreads in a magnetic keepsake box.

Around the decks sit the companions we stock: The Big Visions Book, a guide to the Prisma Visions Tarot and the Cosma Visions Oracle, divination diaries, sticker books for journalling your spreads, a deck satchel and a screen-printed Treasure Map altar cloth made for the Oracle of Many Paths.

It is one deck of 79 cards. It brings together the art of the Prisma Visions Tarot and the Cosma Visions Oracle and is printed lenticular, so the images move as you tilt each card.
Which James R. Eads deck should I start with?
Start with the Prisma Visions Tarot if you want a tarot deck, or the Cosma Visions Oracle if you prefer an oracle. The Big Visions Book guides you through both.
Does The Oracle of Many Paths come with a guidebook?
Yes. It comes with a fabric-bound hardcover guidebook of example spreads, in the same magnetic keepsake box as the cards.
