Cookie Policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

How this shop uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them, under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site work properly, for example, remembering what is in your basket, and can also be used to understand how a site is used.

The cookies we use

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the basket and checkout and to remember your cookie choice. These are essential to provide the shop you have asked for, so under PECR they do not require your consent. Our payment provider, Stripe, also sets cookies needed to process payment securely and to help prevent fraud. On the order confirmation page, if you opt in to the Google Customer Reviews survey, Google may place a cookie and use similar technologies to run that survey and to email you a review request; this only happens if you tick the opt-in box shown at that point.

Analytics and advertising cookies

With your consent we use analytics and advertising cookies to understand how the shop is used and to measure whether our adverts lead to visits and orders. Because these are not strictly necessary, we only set them if you choose Accept on our cookie banner. If you choose Essential Only, we do not load them. They are:Google Analytics (Google): _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which tell visits apart and measure how the shop is used. They last 400 days.Google Ads (Google): _gcl_au, with _gcl_ls stored in your browser, records when a visit came from one of our Google adverts and lasts 90 days. IDE, on Google's doubleclick.net domain, is used by Google to measure and show adverts and lasts 390 days.Pinterest: _pin_unauth, which records when a visit came from Pinterest and measures our Pinterest adverts. It lasts one year.Google and Pinterest may also use this data for their own purposes, as set out in their privacy notices. You can change your mind at any time using the Settings link beside Cookies at the foot of every page, which brings the banner back.If you switch to Essential Only, we stop the analytics and advertising tools straight away and delete the cookies they set on our site. Google's IDE cookie is held on Google's own domain, so we cannot delete it for you; you can remove it in your browser settings.

Managing cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the banner when you first visit. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, though blocking essential cookies may stop the basket or checkout from working.
