Shipping & Delivery

We pack every order by hand and aim to dispatch within 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). At busy times, dispatch may take a little longer; if so, we will let you know. Wherever you are, we will deliver in-stock items within 30 days of your order. Pre-orders ship once stock arrives, as described below.

UK delivery is sent by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked and signed, a tracked service, and the cost is shown at checkout before you pay. Once dispatched, items typically arrive within 2-3 working days, though Royal Mail does not guarantee this for standard services. Delivery times are estimates and start from dispatch, not from when you order.

We ship to the UK and to 18 EU countries. The country list at checkout is the definitive one: if yours does not appear there, we cannot ship to you yet. European delivery is sent with Royal Mail International Tracked. The exact cost is shown at checkout before you pay and delivery times vary by destination. How import charges are handled depends on the value of your basket (the items, after any discount, excluding delivery). For EU orders up to €150 we ship Delivered Duties Paid: at checkout you pay one all-in price covering the item, delivery and an “Import Charges (DDP)” line for your country’s import VAT, customs duty and the carrier’s handling fee, and your parcel is delivered with nothing more to pay. EU orders over €150, including orders to Spain and Luxembourg, are sent duty unpaid: the price you pay us covers the item and delivery only, and import VAT, any customs duty and the carrier’s handling fee are collected by the carrier on delivery. Checkout tells you which applies before you pay. If a parcel is refused and comes back to us, we treat it as a cancellation and refund the goods and standard delivery as set out in our Returns policy, less any return charge the carrier bills us. We declare the full value on the customs form and cannot mark parcels as gifts or lower the declared value.

We also ship to Switzerland with Royal Mail International Tracked. Unlike EU orders, delivery to Switzerland is duty unpaid: the price you pay us covers the item and delivery only. Swiss import VAT (currently 8.1%) and a customs handling fee are charged by Swiss Post before your parcel is delivered and they are not included in our price. We declare the full value on the customs form and cannot mark parcels as gifts or lower the declared value. The exact delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Some decks are sold as pre-orders before the stock has arrived in the UK. Where an item is a pre-order, the product page shows an estimated dispatch window. These windows are our best estimate and can move depending on our supplier and import timelines; we will keep you updated and tell you promptly if there is a significant delay. If your order mixes in-stock and pre-order items, we may either hold the whole order until everything is ready or ship in parts. We will confirm which when you order.

Where your service includes tracking we will send you the details when your order is dispatched. If your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable time of the estimated date, contact us at hello@theguildedveil.co.uk and we will help trace it. If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will arrange a replacement or refund. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you.

Please check your delivery address at checkout. If an order is returned to us because the address was incorrect or undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange redelivery (which may incur a further postage charge) or a refund of the goods.
