Welcome to The Deep Place, a space beyond the everyday, where mystery has room to breathe and the soul can speak.

Created by independent artist Rae Serafina Barker, The Deep Place Oracle began as a collection of digital mixed-media collage artworks. As the collection grew, so too did the vision for an oracle deck, an invitation to step beyond the surface of ordinary life and enter somewhere deeper.

This is an oracle for deep feeling, truth telling, grief, creativity, shadow work, mystery and magic. A place where you are given permission to descend, to wander, to question and to explore whatever is alive within you.

Sometimes the everyday world simply does not give us enough space. We need somewhere with greater depth, more possibility and a little more mystery. The Deep Place offers exactly that, a sanctuary where beauty and darkness can exist side by side, where difficult feelings can be witnessed and where there is room to listen to the quieter truths beneath the surface.

The deck is beautifully structured into three realms: The Above, The Below and The Liminal.

The Above represents the daylight world, what is visible, known and experienced in full light and colour.

The Below carries us into the underworld, the unseen, unconscious, shadowy and mysterious places beneath the surface.

The Liminal inhabits the spaces between. It explores the both/and the neither/nor and those beautifully uncertain places where transformation can begin.

Together, these three realms create a rich landscape for intuitive exploration. The Deep Place does not ask you to choose between light and darkness. Instead, it welcomes all of it and all of you.
