The Somnia Tarot: Oracle Series is a 74-card photographic oracle deck by Nicolas Bruno, the companion to his Somnia Tarot, stepping beyond the traditional tarot into the archetypes of our dreams and nightmares.

Where the tarot keeps to the familiar path of the Major and Minor Arcana, the Oracle Series is free to wander. Its 74 ethereal photographs are curated to help you travel through the world of dreams and shadow work. Each one is there to invite self-reflection, quiet courage and a little honesty with yourself.

Like the tarot before it, every card is a staged scene rather than a drawing: figures shrouded in fabric, a candlelit golden throne, a piano standing in the tide, a writing desk half buried in sand. Cards such as The Ancestor, The Catharsis and The Guide carry their names in gold along the foot of the image, so each reading begins with a word as well as a picture.

The deck is made for journalling as much as for reading. Draw a card, sit with the scene and write about what it stirs in you. Over time it becomes a conversation with the parts of yourself that only speak at the edge of sleep.
